Very beautifully put together. A mini-palace. We loved the wooded privacy as well as the fire-pit for night-time star-gazing. When everything is finished it will be perfect.

My family i recently had the opportunity to stay at The Grand Retreat and all we can say is WOW! This place is gorgeous. We were not sure how the three bedrooms would work out but having an 800 square foot loft served well as a large bedroom for the kids - complete with a big screen. The beaches were amazing, amenities close and again the cottage was more than we could have expected. Looking forward to coming up in the Fall.

We stayed at the Grand Retreat and had a great time. The beach, which was just a short walk away, was absolutely perfect for our children. We also enjoyed several day trips to Tobermory, Cyprus Lake, Singing Sands and Cabot Head. We were very comfortable in the cottage and appreciate how easy Malcom made things for us.

Stayed over at McIvor in late June and found everything in perfect condition as promised. very pleasant stay and beautiful place.
